The Meadows B+B : Review

On our weekend away in the New Forest we stayed at The Meadows Bed and Breakfast in Lyndhurst.

We had a double room with ensuite shower, at Β£79 per night. The room was lovely- spacious, and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and a biscuit jar which they kept replenished!

There were also extra touches, such as a hairdryer and water jug, as well as various books and information leaflets about the area, which were very useful.

The owners Shelley and Bill were friendly and attentive, offering us maps of suggested driving routes to explore the New Forest, and restaurant suggestions in Lyndhurst.

The breakfast selection was great, with a tick-sheet for guests to choose their preference of cooked items such as poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc, as well as fresh fruit served, and toast and cereals available to help yourself too. Plus tea, coffee and fruit juices- we were definitely set up nicely for the day ahead!

If you're looking for somewhere as a base to explore the New Forest then I'd highly recommend The Meadows B+B- it's a great place to stay with a personal touch. The location is excellent too, being in the centre of Lyndhurst within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and within driving distance of all the New Forest attractions.
