WIAW: What I Ate Wednesday 21

Happy Wednesday! I hope you have all been enjoying the gorgeous hot weather we have been experiencing here in the UK. There were some pretty epic thunderstorms over the last few days too!

This is what I ate on Saturday - Mark and I went to his cousins 25th Wedding Anniversary party in Kent. I don't have photos of everything I ate, but I have decided to feature it anyway, for a bit of variety! It was quite a fun day of eats, although not particularly healthy... But hey, that's what parties are about! πŸ™‚

Breakfast
I went for a run before we left - 3.5miles up to the river and back. I ate a Nakd bar before I set off - caffe mocha flavoured, yum!

When I got back I had 2 poached eggs on toast

- one of my favourite breakfasts ever! πŸ™‚

Lunch
We stayed in a campsite overnight so we didn't have to drive back home after the party, so after arriving and setting up the tent we ate a few snacks.

I had some leftover quiche (unpictured), an apple and a few handfuls of cheesy popcorn.

Dinner
The hosts of the party had hired a Fish & Chip van to cater for their guests for dinner - it was such an awesome idea and everyone loved it! It meant they didn't have to worry about cooking, plus everyone loves fish and chips, and the novelty of having one parked on their driveway was very entertaining πŸ™‚ I'd be tempted to borrow the idea!

Mark and I then shared a bowl of some of the many desserts on offer! This is a lemon cheesecake and chocolate tart, mmm...

What party food do you love? Any novelty party ideas? I think getting an ice cream van would also be quite fun!
