[GRUFFALO] Exploring the #Gruffalo Party Trail @fo [GRUFFALO] Exploring the #Gruffalo Party Trail @forestryengland Salcey Forest, celebrating 25 years of the Gruffalo! Arthur is Gruffalo OBSESSED at the moment, so this was the perfect trail for us to walk together as a family, stopping to complete the activities and enjoying the beautiful autumn colours πŸ‚ We missed the Gruffalo sculpture halfway round - not sure if there was a signpost - and someone's legs were a bit too small to walk the whole 1-mile route, but we enjoyed the den building area and wooden enchanted houses en route. [PUMPKINS] Pumpkin patch fun @the.secret.farm last [PUMPKINS] Pumpkin patch fun @the.secret.farm last weekend! πŸŽƒ It was a bit grey and drizzly, and very muddy - wellies highly recommended - but we all had a great time 😁 Arthur was most excited by how many tractors/diggers/wheelbarrows he could ride in! The last time was when I was about 4 months pregnant, and since having Arthur going out on the bike has always felt much harder to organise than just grabbing my running shoes! [RUNNING FESTIVAL] A little #throwbackthursday to [RUNNING FESTIVAL] A little #throwbackthursday to the @bedfordrunfest @eventsatw at the weekend! I took part in the 5k as my first running race since having Arthur. It was a great event with lots going on for families and spectators, and the riverside route was really lovely. I'll definitely be adding it to my calendar for next year. The race itself felt like a huge milestone, and even though it was 'only' a 5k, I'm so proud of myself for getting to this point 18 months after giving birth.
