March Goals

Man, these months are flying by! End of February already? Even with that sneaky extra 29th day.

It was my birthday on the 28th so I definitely ended the month on a fantastic positive note. Check out my blog post here on our Yoga up the Shard antics!

My February goals were pretty relaxed - I was striving for consistency and trying to take some of the pressure off, so that I didn’t beat myself up for not exercising everyday. Honestly, I’ve never done that but January and New Year Goals can make us all go a bit crazy with trying to be Superwoman and take on insane challenges!

March Goals

March is quite a busy month (for a change, haha). I’m most excited about heading out to Barcelona with Healthy Start Holidays- check out my blog post here for more information on active holidays. A week of cycling, Pilates, cooking, and living an active balanced life sounds perfect!

I will also be running the Richmond Riverside 10k on the 19th with friends Stephanie, Lauren and Katie, followed by brunch of course! And I'm working at the Vitality North London Half Marathon the next day - good luck if you're racing!

My goals will be to:

  • Continue training for the 10k and complete the race faster than the Winter Run 10k
  • Enjoy my holiday in Barcelona and make the most of all the opportunities while I'm out there!
  • Go to one Spinning class per week (thanks to BOOM Cycle for their sponsorship)
  • Get out on my bike and practise, practise, practise with clipless pedals/shoes
  • I may have a possible collaboration, which means I could get in some more bike time at home - I will keep you posted!
  • Continue with my regular Monday evening Yin Yoga class
  • Try not to binge on Creme Eggs over Easter…

What will you be up to this month?

I can't believe that Easter is so close! I know it's early this year but it seems to be so much closer than normal.
Good luck with the bike things- the clips always look so technical.

I loved the class at the Shard when I did it! Must go again sometime. I need to add a bit more yin yoga into my routine, although I don't a lot of high impact, I don't have anything completely relaxing either. Enjoy Barcelona!
