[ADVENTURE] Family adventures in the woods 🥾🌳🥰

Our traditional New Year walk, complete with Jetboil and hot dogs.

Arthur had a fantastic time exploring and adventuring, stomping through the mud and crunchy frosty leaves. He did so well, only needing a few shoulder carrys when it got hilly - hoping it will tire him out for bedtime! Toddler energy is another level though... 🤣

[NEW YEAR] What a difference a day makes! While yesterday's stormy New Year's Day may have suggested a rather turbulent year ahead, I'm going for the more positive outlook in believing that sunny skies will always follow 🥰☀️

We had a lovely walk around Ampthill Park today in the cold, crisp January sunshine. Complete with plenty of stomping through mud and digging with sticks! 🥾🌳

I don't really know what 2025 holds yet after some unpredicted changes at the end of 2024, but that's the excitement of a new year and all the adventures yet to come... 🥳😄

[FESTIVE PARKRUN] Getting in the festive spirit with a (nearly) Christmas #parkrun at my local 5k event at @forestofmarstonvale Millennium Country Park.

It was rather wet and muddy today with huge puddles on the course, but I took it easy with a 5-1 run/walk approach and splashed my way through! 💦

I loved seeing all the outfits from other people running too - kudos to the guy running dressed as a giant Christmas cracker 🎄🏃🏼‍♀️🎅

I only managed to squeeze in 20 minutes before it was time to go pick up little one from nursery, but i still managed to see a lot of awesome displays. There were so many good ones this year, it was a great way to get a run in and feel even more festive 🎄✨️
