The Om Yoga Show: Om Yoga Magazine October

The Om Yoga Show London is being held next weekend (24th-26th) at Kensington Olympia.

The October edition of the Om Yoga Magazine has a big section on the show so definitely check it out if you're interested in going along!

Om Yoga Magazine October

There is a great programme of free classes, and workshops (which cost) taking place over the weekend. I'm going to the Hip and Shoulder Opening workshop at 2:30pm on Friday, which sounds the perfect thing for a runner and someone who sits at a desk all day!

Here's a quick look at some of the brands that will be exhibiting at the show, that were featured in the magazine this month...

Exhibitors at the Om Yoga Show London

1. 9bar Indulge
I love the original 9bar, and the new 9bar Indulge sounds awesome- it's chocolatey and indulgent, but also contains 9bars characteristic mixed seeds so it's nutritious as well! The bars are gluten and and wheat free, suitable for vegans and come in tempting Cocoa & Hazelnut, Cocoa & Cashew, Cocoa & Coconut, and Cocoa and Raspberry varieties- here's hoping they have some free samples to test!

2. Rebel Kitchen Mylk
I've only tried the chocolate flavour of Rebel Kitchen Mylk so am intrigued to try their Matcha Green Tea and Chai flavours. These drinks are made with coconut milk blended with spring water, and are packed full of fibre, vitamins and minerals.

3. Om Bar Raw Chocolate
These chocolate bars are made using raw organic cacao from Ecuador, which is used to give a rich complex flavour, and also because it retains much more of its antioxidant properties which are lost during the roasting process. Ombars are sweetened using organic coconut palm sugar, which is sustainably sourced from independent farmers in Java, and come in a variety of flavours- I especially like the sound of Strawberries and Cream!

4. Seven chakras
Seven Chakras is a company that produces yoga mats, equipment and clothing which is environmentally friendly and ethically produced. Their yoga mats are also embellished with a Buddha's head motif made from Swarovski crystals for a bit of added sparkle!

5. Buddhapants
These baggy trousers fit in their own pocket for travelling, and come in a range of patterns. They're called the pants that make you dance, and are definitely quirky!

There are loads of other exhibitors I want to check out, as well as the Tree of Life Meditation Area, Hotpod Yoga, Swing Fitness (acroyoga), Hip Hop Yoga and Boxing Yoga- there's so much going on!

Check out the programme here. What do you like the sound of?
