[GRUFFALO] Exploring the #Gruffalo Party Trail @forestryengland Salcey Forest, celebrating 25 years of the Gruffalo!

Arthur is Gruffalo OBSESSED at the moment, so this was the perfect trail for us to walk together as a family, stopping to complete the activities and enjoying the beautiful autumn colours 🍂

We missed the Gruffalo sculpture halfway round - not sure if there was a signpost - and someone's legs were a bit too small to walk the whole 1-mile route, but we enjoyed the den building area and wooden enchanted houses en route. Good places to stop for a sit down and a snack! 😆

[PUMPKINS] Pumpkin patch fun @the.secret.farm last

[PUMPKINS] Pumpkin patch fun @the.secret.farm last weekend! 🎃 It was a bit grey and drizzly, and very muddy - wellies highly recommended - but we all had a great time 😁

Arthur was most excited by how many tractors/diggers/wheelbarrows he could ride in! The extra activities were a great addition to the setup 👍🏻 🚜

We managed to be fairly restrained with our pumpkin haul, and I'm planning on making stuffed squash and soup in the next couple of weeks 😋

I'm really not a big fan of Halloween for all the spooky stuff, but autumnal adventures are definitely 👌

[Back on the bike] Another big milestone today as I finally got back in the saddle after over 2 years away from cycling. The last time was when I was about 4 months pregnant, and since having Arthur going out on the bike has always felt much harder to organise than just grabbing my running shoes!

But today, something clicked, all the elements worked, and I managed to grab 30 minutes in my lunch break to enjoy the September sunshine 😍🙌🏼🚴🏽‍♀️ honestly, I didn't realise how much I missed it!

[RUNNING FESTIVAL] A little #throwbackthursday to

[RUNNING FESTIVAL] A little #throwbackthursday to the @bedfordrunfest @eventsatw at the weekend! I took part in the 5k as my first running race since having Arthur. It was a great event with lots going on for families and spectators, and the riverside route was really lovely. I'll definitely be adding it to my calendar for next year.

The race itself felt like a huge milestone, and even though it was 'only' a 5k, I'm so proud of myself for getting to this point 18 months after giving birth. I enjoyed the whole experience, ran strongly, got a great time and a shiny new medal! 🏅

It was also strangely like going back in time to when I used to do events regularly, and I felt a bit like the old me, with the added bonus of an extra special little cheer person waiting at the finish line 💙🥰
