As is the tradition on my blog, every year at the end of the year, I like to look back and reflect on what I've achieved. It's a nice way to remember some of the memories that may have been forgotten, and celebrate just how far we've come in those twelve months, which really do seem to have flown by!
Here's my 2017 wrap-up...
January
I set my word for the year to be 'Happy' and wrapped up warm in my #Scarfie for Asthma UK
February
James and I ran the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10k and I shared some Valentines ideas for fitness couples.
March
I celebrated my 30th birthday with a wet and windy (and awesome) trip to the Lake District, and got involved with the Decathlon Bloggers Community.
April
The fourth month of the year saw me start my new job at Human Race, and get a new haircut.
May
I got creative in the kitchen with Gousto, and shared my tips for exercising with asthma when pollen levels and hayfever rear their ugly heads.
June
My summer of challenges kicked off with a hot London 10 MileΒ race in Richmond Park and an even hotter London to Brighton bike ride!
July
A well deserved spa break at Champneys Henlow with my sister, followed by completing the challenging RideLondon 100.
August
I started commuting to work on my Decathlon folding bike, and we took another trip to the Lake District over the Bank Holiday weekend.
September
Autumn meant kicking off my training for Tough Mudder and completing the South London Half course with my fantastic team.
October
This month included myΒ very first trip to a Centerparcs at Woburn Forest, and sharing my tips for running with asthma as ambassador for the Women's Running Race Series.
November
I wrote about my experience at the Manchester Half Marathon, and we enjoyed a family glamping trip to Dorset.
December
Feeling festive and sharing my Christmas gift guide suggestions for outdoor lovers, and I moved to Hertfordshire to live with my boyfriend!
Looking back it always amazes me how much can happen in a year, but I think a new job and a new home is pretty up there on the list of life developments!
I could say that 2018 might be a little calmer and quieter, but I doubt it! With my first challenge of the year already in place (Reading Half Marathon!) and another awesome project that I'll be announcing in January, 2018 is already shaping up to be a pretty fantastic year.
What is your 2017 highlight?
Wow, you've had such a busy year!
