Ingredients
2 slices bread
10-15 slices chorizo
250g minced beef
1 egg
1. Roughly rip your slices of bread up and blitz in a food processor for a minute or so until they become breadcrumbs.
2. Cut or tear your sliced chorizo into small pieces, and combine in a bowl with your beef mince and breadcrumbs.
3. Add an egg to the mixture to hold it together and season with your desired herbs and spices- salt and pepper, extra paprika, or traditional oregano. Then use your hands to mix everything together until it forms a sausage shape.
4. Divide the mixture into portions, and shape into burgers using your hands. This quantity made six when I did it.
5. Cook in the oven for 10-15mins at 180degreesC (fan oven), turning halfway. Make sure the meat is cooked through and not pink before serving.
6. I just had mine with a side salad, but you could add a proper bun and chips, or maybe sweet potato fries if you wanted to! π
