BBQ Time!

The weather was gorgeous this weekend so Mark and I decided to make the most of it and have a BBQ on Sunday afternoon as our lunch/dinner. Our garden only gets the sun until about 5oclock due to the direction it faces so we wanted to make sure we could sit out in the sunshine!
First up Pimms! With fresh strawberries, mint (from our garden) and cucumber…
 Then it was time to light the BBQ…

And cook some yummy food! Corn-on-the-cob to start…
Then steak and blue cheese burgers from Sainsburys- really good!
And we finished up with some homemade veggie kebabs (yellow courgette, mushroom, red pepper and halloumi, nom!) and new potatoes…
We also played around with some bubble mixture that I bought in town- I saw someone advertising those bubble wands for creating huge bubbles and it reminded me of blowing bubbles as a child. 
It’s still fun now! ðŸ™‚
