Since my physio appointment on Wednesday I've been trying "to exercise as normal" with the temporary foam arch support to see if it makes any difference.

I started off pretty well- the weather was gorgeous! However about halfway round I got a massive stitch and had to walk quite a lot until it had gone. My calf was still hurting too although I was trying to think more about my running style... I got over-taken by heaps of really fit triathletes! But it was quite encouraging having other runners around, made me keep going π I stretched at the end of my run and refuelled with a nakd berry cheeky oatie bar - 100kcal per bar, and made only with natural ingredients.

I iced my calf when I got home and it feels a bit better now. I'm not sure if I'm really going to be able to properly run for a while though, it might be more beneficial to just take a break- will see what Tim says on Friday, but I don't want to push too much.
