Monday- Body Attack
Tuesday- Rest
Wednesday- Body Combat
Thursday- Run 4.5k, Body Pump
Friday- Rest
Saturday- Rest (I intended to go for a run today but choosing my new running shoes took longer than I thought so I saved the trial run for Sunday. I'm sure all the test runs around the shop car park did something! Haha...)
Sunday- Run to gym 2.5k, Body Pump, Run home 2.5k.
My first run in my new shoes went well! I have mild pain in my right shin and calf which I think might be an after-effect of running in un-supportive shoes for a few weeks, so hopefully it should go away in a day or so. But obviously, I will check it out if it gets any worse... I'm expecting my legs to ache to a certain extent simply due to the fact that they're not used to running and are unfit!
I'm going to try and get out more at lunchtime at work this week. The weather is a major put-off, but I really want to be consistent and make a difference. I'm really proud that I've stuck to my plan for 5 weeks now, and have averaged 4 workouts a week, but I'd like to up that number so that eventually I'm doing 30mins of exercise every day- even if that's just something light like a Pilates class or a walk.
So my "Good Exercise Intention" for next week is at least 5 workouts, including 3 runs... Have a happy healthy weekend!
