Guess what time it is? Yup WIAW with Jenn from Peas and Crayons! Head on over there to check out the links to everyone’s posts, and see what the blog world has been eating this week π
March is also the month of “Eating Green” and loving your veggies!
I decided to mix it up this week, so this is actually a rundown of what I ate at the weekend, just to make things a little more exciting!
Saturday
BreakfastCinnamon and raisin bagel- no photo I’m afraid as I’d gotten up quite early to see Mark off and was obviously still half asleep!
After waking up (!) I went for a wander down to our local Farmers Market in the morning and picked up some goodies for the weekend.
I grabbed a flat white from Harris+Hoole on my walk back home.
Lunch
I may also have eaten several other slices unpictured, lol…
DinnerJacket sweet potato topped with brie, with a big salad on the side…
EveningIn the evening I had a coffee from our Nespresso machine, with that awesome looking chocolate cupcake I bought at the Farmers Market π Call it a mini-belated-birthday cake (any excuse for cupcakes :P)
Sunday
BreakfastChocolate croissant from the local Farmers Market and a cup of tea!
Sunday is usually a special day with breakfast- sometimes Mark and I will go out for brunch (like last weekend, when we went to Bill’s) or sometimes we’ll have pancakes or pastries, something a little more luxurious π
I went to the gym mid-morning for an intervals and weights session- I perhaps should have had a snack before as I did feel a little light headed by the end of the sprints, I don’t think a chocolate croissant gave me much energy!Fortunately after whizzing around Sainsbury’s I came straight home in time for lunch…
Lunch Shopping after the gym is good because I always feel really healthy so buy heaps of fresh fruit and veggies! (but also bad cos usually I’m hungry so I buy twice as much!)So for lunch I put together a snack plate with lots of veg sticks, houmous and two boiled eggs.
I also had a chunk of cheesy chilli bread I picked up at the Farmers Market, while I was waiting for the eggs to cook.

I love the idea of topping a sweet potato with brie!
