And on Saturday I attended a Beginners Yoga Workshop at Yoga on the Lane in north London with some friends. The workshop was interesting in that it was really basic, and the teacher spent a lot of time just talking at us, about breathing and the background of yoga and alignment issues etc. Which was interesting, and taught me a bit more about the foundation of practising yoga, but I was a bit disappointed at the lack of actual physical movement! I was hoping for a little more “yoga” at a beginner level, with breakdown/explanations and modifications for beginner yogis. The long relaxation at the end was good though! π
So 11 days of the 21day yoga challenge done!
For the next couple of weeks I will probably try and do a combination of at home videos and studio classes. Any suggestions?

Wow well done. I'd love to introduce more yoga into my life. I think you can get podcast classes, helpful if you can put poses with names!

Yeah the ab sessions are tough, but at least they're short! I have a playlist on YouTube as well- it's great for finding new routines π
