ClassPass London!

ClassPass has finally launched in London!

ClassPass London

This unique concept has been taking the States by storm and has now come to the bright lights of England’s capital city. Here’s a quick summary…

What Is ClassPass?

  • ClassPass is a monthly membership to the best boutique fitness classes in your city. There are thousands of classes available to ClassPass members, including cycling, pilates, yoga, strength training, dance, martial arts, and more.
  • In London the studios include Bootcamp Pilates, Project Fit, Edgecycle, Crossfit, Good Vibes, Frame, Barretoned, Speedflex, Triyoga and so many more!

How Does ClassPass Work?

  • Each ClassPass cycle is one month in length, and will automatically renew on the same day each month. You’ll be able to take as many classes as you like each month! (although you can only visit a studio 3 times per membership cycle)
  • ClassPass does NOT require an annual/long-term commitment, and if you go on holiday you can freeze your membership (for £19 per month) and are still able to book one class in that month.
  • Reserve a class by clicking on one of the venues, and then selecting the class you would like to attend. Click the “reserve” button next to the class and confirm your reservation, and you’ll be added to the list!
  • If you can’t attend a class, cancellations must be made at least 12hours in advance or you will be charged a £12 cancellation fee. If you just don’t turn up you will be charged a £15 no-show fee.
I’m so excited to try out some new studios in London! I think that ClassPass is the perfect solution for those people who like a bit of variety in their workouts, and want to make the most of all the awesome new fitness trends in the city.
ClassPass even have some great introductory offers lined up for those people who are keen to get started ASAP!

How Much Does ClassPass Cost?

  • Your monthly ClassPass membership is normally £89
  • As a limited-time launch promotion for our first London users, we’re offering unlimited classes for £79 a month
  • If you are really ready to make a fitness commitment, you can sign-up for 3 months for £69 a month or 6 months for £59 a month!

To sign up head over to classpass.com

Hope to see you at a class very soon!

NB: I’ve been given a free month of ClassPass to try out in return for blog and social media promotion, but I genuinely think it’s a great idea! This post includes an affiliate link, which means I make a little money for every person that signs  up.

  1. I feel this this is a great idea but honestly only if you have access to areas that are super dense with participating boutiques. However, if you do have lots around you, like in London, these are pretty great as you could be doing 4 classes a week = 16 a month = 5.5 per class. If thats less than what you'd pay for a class then great. Seems to be an esp good idea for exercise places that you dont want to visit exclusively but dont want to shell out 15 quid per time. Unsure it would work up north- doesn't seem like there'd be enough places!

  2. No I think you're right- it's only really possible in London. All the other cities in the US are big too like LA, New York etc. It does work out good value though as you say, especially if you had previously been buying memberships for multiple studios in order to do Yoga, Spinning and Pilates for example!

  3. Gosh that is so expensive! You would have to go to a lot of classes to make it pay. It seems a good idea if there are a lot of gyms around, but the limit to going to the same place 3 times seems strange- if you found a class you liked you would have to miss one week at least in every 4.

  4. It does seem like a great idea, but it's so expensive, considering you could join a gym that offers different classes for more than half the price!Corinne xwww.slimmedcartree.com

  5. I guess the idea is that you go to a lot of different classes per week. The 3 class per month limit would basically be once a week. It is expensive, I agree, but it depends what you were paying for before- if you're someone who had multiple memberships at different studios it would probably work quite well. I'll do some costing and get back to you!

  6. It is expensive but I guess it depends what you compare it to- Virgin Active in Central London is around £90 per month, Nuffield Health about £70, Gym Box doesn't even list prices on their website but apparently has a joining fee of about £175! I agree there are of course cheaper options, so it depends what works for you. I will do some costing of the number of classes that I attend in a month and see how it adds up 🙂
