Blogging with the Daily Greatness Business Planner

Balancing a blog with a 9-5 job can be a struggle, and definitely requires a huge amount of planning and organisation. I always have the best intentions to blog three times a week, and take great photos, and schedule all my social media posts in advance but that doesn’t usually happen!
For the last few weeks, I’ve loved using the Daily Greatness Business Planner to help keep me on track, and brainstorm future ideas…

Daily Greatness Business Planner Review
Daily Greatness produce a selection of journals, designed for focus, growth and organisation including a 12-week Training Journal and a beautiful Yoga Journal. The Business Planner is the latest addition to the range, and is a great comprehensive tool to help you make a success of your business.

It includes a undated yearly planner (so you can start anytime), finance and budget worksheets, goal and action plans, and personal development tools – broken down into a simple daily, weekly and quarterly structure.
The weekly check-ins are good to form regular habits, and to look back on what you’ve achieved. Taking some time on a Sunday evening to reflect and schedule in tasks for the upcoming week is something I’m trying to keep doing!
Each day starts with a reflective question, space for your top three priorities and a column to plan your day’s appointments and tasks.
There are also inspirational quotes dotted throughout the journal to motivate you and blank pages with colourful geometric patterns for your own notes.

There are sections that don’t apply so much to a blog as opposed to a business such as those pages focusing on budgets and delegating to employees.
However, the vision planner was great- I loved using it to imagine what I could achieve in 1, 3 or 5 years time, and plot my dream scenario!

Thinking about the main sections of my blog has allowed me to break down goals into more tangible steps, and hopefully actually achieve some of things I’ve been intending to do for a while!
The Daily Greatness Business Planner is great for reaching your goals and expanding your business, and helping to keep you committed, accountable and motivated. My main problem now is making sure I use my time effectively and not spend too long planning, instead of actually writing and blogging!

  1. I have the yoga one of these and it's fab! I don't fill it in all the time but I like the prompts it gives you to think about things πŸ™‚ Great idea to use one for blogging. I can't wait for my summer break from college when I will be able to blog more instead of studying in the evenings! x

  2. I love things like this, but I haven't stuck with one successfully unfortunately. I've resorted to a very colourful notebook from John Lewis for brain storming. It looks like a lovely planner though!

  4. Very helpful post, thanks Beki! I've been debating about getting one of these but am torn between the classic and the business version. Do you know what the difference is/have any thoughts on whether the generic one might be good for blog planning as well as life in general?

  5. This sounds fab and I like the way you have broken your sections to think about down into smaller chunks. I've been struggling lately to keep up with blog reading, blogging myself, running and working a full time job where I'm out of the house for 12+ hours each day. I need a little more organisation in my life right now and I'm all about the stationery!
